The workshop was organized with participation from major stakeholders of traditional architecture in Jordan. This included Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Ministry of Municipalities and other government organizations dealing with traditional buildings. In additions there were participants from Greater Amman Municipality, Jordanian Universities, Private sector and local community.
There was special focus in the workshop on the RehabiMed Project and its positive impact on the conservation and rehabilitation of Jordanian traditional architecture. In addition to the presentations about the RehabiMed project there was big interest in the videos that illustrated the case studies using the RehabiMed method.
The workshop was a big success with media coverage by the mean daily and weekly newspapers. The workshop opening was attended by government and educational authorities high ranking officials.
