• To promote the traditional architecture of historic centres by means of their appropriation by political agents and the population
• To generate social cohesion around the idea of heritage as a sign of identity and a cultural and economic resource
• To bring about a change in mentality, perception and organization at the local scale, turning heritage into the driving force of sustainable development.
