The activities of the MONTADA project will be carried out under the guidance of the EIDEM (Équipe internationale d’animation et d’expertise méditerranée), a network of experts that will provide the Participation Forums with technical and scientific leadership.
The Citizen Participation Forums are places where authorities, civil society and citizens will meet to discuss the promotion of local heritage. They will be vital tools for the pooling of knowledge and local concerns. The Forums will ensure that interventions are lasting and rooted in the society.
The activities will involve meetings and debates, integrated rehabilitation projects, training, dissemination and awareness-raising. They will produce teaching materials about local heritage for use in schools, promoting an across-the-board, contextual interpretation of the Mediterranean region and fostering intercultural dialogue.
