    The European Heritage Forum Conservare 2005 will take place in Kortrijk (Courtrai), Belgium, from 7 to 10 October 2005. The objective of the forum is to promote dialogue and cooperation between the agents of European heritage. It will include a meeting space for institutions, organisations and firms, exhibitions about various aspects of heritage, guided visits to the historic heritage of the region, and conferences for studies, debates and workshops. There will also be an audiovisual forum, at which the best video production will be awarded the Conservare Award 2005.

    This June sees the fourth Competition for the Rehabilitation and Conservation of Vineyard Constructions, organized by the Governing Board of the 'Denominació d'Origen' of Pla de Bages (Spain). Pla del B ages is a Catalan region famed for the quality of its vineyards. This year, prizes will also be awarded to dry-stone constructions such as irrigation and wine deposits and walls.
