Coinciding with the creation of the Union for the Mediterranean (UpM) and the naming of Barcelona as the seat of its permanent secretariat, we are pleased to announce the 2nd International Digital Photography Competition “Different Viewpoints: TRADITIONAL MEDITERRANEAN ARCHITECTURE”. RehabiMed’s aim with this competition is to construct a territory of interrelation in which social cohesion is the central objective.

Once again, the theme is traditional architecture in use today, its transformation and the people who turn this possibility into a reality. The subjective eye behind the camera offers differing viewpoints of everyday relations with traditional spaces and the mutilation, the contrasts and what still survives—in short, the context of the traditional setting.
